This year we're coming of age! I am experiencing the 18th anniversary of Irazusta Comunicación as if I had won the lottery, in a business context where approximately 95% of companies do not survive for more than 10 years. ¶ The greatest risk I ever took was more than five years ago, when I voluntarily resigned from a management position that provided me with a good salary and a high degree of job security, in order to pursue my vocation as an entrepreneur. Currently, this project has grown into a company that is a benchmark in strategic communication, whose main mission is to practice corporate activism and watch over our clients’ reputation. Because without companies which are honest and of good quality, there is no economy, no jobs, no future.¶ The intangible value of Irazusta Comunicación is made up of an excellent, solid and unique melting pot, an alloy of skills, attitudes and values shared by a unique team with high technical and interpersonal skills. The road we have travelled has been built with the rigour and precision of a master watchmaker and with the passion of someone who is coming of age and wants to take on the world. There is no formula for success, but we possess the best ingredients to make it happen: excellence, perseverance, empathy, flexibility, ability to anticipate, rigour, loyalty, honesty... ¶ And although it has required long and great efforts, we were born lucky when we started our project as the press office for two real estate companies to which, just one month later, we added an IBEX 35 company to our portfolio. After these beginnings, many leading companies in their sectors have come to trust us for their needs: the leading energy company in Spain, the leading Spanish bank, the leading Spanish technology company, the leading rental housing company and the leading hotel equity fund are just a few examples of the quality and scale of clients in our portfolio. We started as a small communications agency - with two people working - specialising in offline media, and we have become a multichannel communications company with around twenty outstanding professionals from different multilingual communications disciplines, offering pioneering and highly exclusive services such as training and Media Intelligence (focused on IBEX 35 companies).¶ We are a company in constant evolution, very different from 18 years ago, but we have kept our strategic, analytical and value-based essence intact. She has also developed her career in other economics newspapers, such as Dinero, and in radio news. In the field of corporate communications, she has been Director of Marketing and Communications for various companies, including the Vallehermoso Group (now Sacyr Vallehermoso), a member of the IBEX 35. Before setting up her own company, she also worked in communications for BBVA, Endesa, Correos [postal services], etc.
